Sign Making in Hounslow: Your Questions
Local questions
Good to know.
Where is your sign-making workshop?
Our workshop is at Unit 1, Derby Road Industrial Estate, Hounslow, TW3 3UH. Please call or WhatsApp 07445 234 305 before visiting so the right person is available.
Which West London areas do you make and fit signs for?
We work across West London, including West London, Hounslow, Ealing, Twickenham, Richmond, Feltham, Brentford, Isleworth, Heathrow, Chiswick, Acton, Hammersmith and nearby areas. Tell us the installation address when you enquire and we will confirm what is involved.
Can you come and measure up my shop or premises?
Yes — for shop signs, fascias and window graphics we can arrange a site visit in the local area. Photos and rough measurements sent in advance help us give you an initial idea first.
Do I need planning permission for a shop sign in Hounslow?
Some signs, especially illuminated or larger signs, may need advertisement consent from your local council (for example Hounslow, Ealing or Richmond). Check with the council for your property; we can give you sign dimensions and details to support an application.
What materials do you use for outdoor signs?
It depends on the job: aluminium composite (Dibond), foamex/PVC board, acrylic and printed or cut vinyl are common. We recommend materials based on where the sign will go, how long it needs to last and your budget.
Do you sign-write and wrap vans locally?
Yes. Vehicle graphics and van sign writing are a large part of our work for local trades and fleets. See our vehicle graphics pages for real examples.
Can you print safety signs, banners and stickers too?
Yes. Alongside signs we produce health and safety signs, PVC and mesh banners, stickers, labels and large-format print. Many can also be ordered through our online shop.
How do I get a price for a sign?
Use the quote form, email info@addworks.co.uk, or call/WhatsApp 07445 234 305 with what you need, approximate size and where it is going. Photos of the location help us quote accurately.
