What to prepare before booking a vehicle wrap

Good preparation makes a signage project clearer to price, easier to schedule and more likely to achieve the result you need.

01

Confirm the exact vehicle

Provide the make, model, year, wheelbase and roof height, plus clear photographs of every side. Different body variants change the printable area and the position of handles, trims and panel joins. Mention existing graphics, paint damage or repairs that could affect preparation.

02

Decide what the vehicle must communicate

A moving vehicle offers only a short reading window. Prioritise the business name, core service, web address and one clear contact route. Avoid filling every panel. Strong hierarchy and contrast are more memorable than a long list of services.

03

Supply the best artwork available

Vector logo files are ideal because they scale cleanly. Brand guidelines, typefaces and colour references also help. If only a small bitmap logo exists, say so at the start; it may need to be rebuilt before artwork can be prepared at vehicle scale.

04

Plan access and downtime

Wrapping needs a clean, controlled environment and the vehicle may need to be left for the agreed installation period. Arrive with the vehicle clean and free of personal equipment where requested. Build collection and return time into your schedule rather than booking work immediately around the fitting slot.
